Ok ladies. It's that time, again. I have no idea what to wear to this concert. I'm thinking maybe jeans and a cute shirt? What have you worn, or would you wear to this type of concert? This isn't my usual thing, so I'm not sure what to go with!

Thanks for any advice!

I wear whatever I'm wearing.

I showed up for the Bo Bice show in the shorts and t-shirt I had been cleaning the house in all day, and a pair of flip-flops.

The only time I notice what anyone is wearing at a show is when a female isn't wearing much at all. Then I get to excercise my eyeballs as they roll around. :rotfl:

I've seen him several times... even when I was at the Ohio Theater (fancy inside) jeans and cute shirt. I think that is probably what the "average" person wears.

I was mainly asking because I looked at another website, and people were all saying they wore business casual, which definitely doesn't include jeans IMO. I'm glad I won't be the only one wearing jeans. Thanks for the opinions.

Do people usually sit or stand? We're in box seats, if that makes a difference.

I´d probably wear a skirt and nice top. He´s coming to Iceland in May. Maybe I´ll see him then. :)

I'm so envious!

You just made me and my Canadian friend very jealous!

Josh Groban!

I would kill to see him!

He's gorgeous, and has a great voice.

Take pictures, if you can!

Oh, and...jeans and a nice shirt should do.

I would be very surprised if everyone attending an arena show wore business casual, unless it was a very special event--I'm talking about some sort of grand opening or charity type event.

My guess is that the people who wore business casual either came from work, were over dressed or were attending a show in a specialy venue, Sprit Square comes to mind. (LOVELY venue!!)

We saw Josh in concert in Mpls two years ago.

People in the pricy seats were very well dressed. Not a jeans crowd at all even in the budget seats..

We're looking forward to it! I was waiting for weeks to find out if cameras were allowed (it was listed as TBA) but when I looked today I got a big fat no. Rats!

I thought it sounded odd, but they were all insistent about it. I've worked at a venue and rarely seen a show with that much of a dressy feel. Only occasionally a symphony or something.

Hmm...The tickets were a gift, and we're in the good seats...hmm. We'll see. If the weather's great, I might wear a casual skirt. Otherwise-it's jeans for me!

you're so lucky!!!

I love him so much!!!!

Enjoy!!!

I asked my husband what people were wearing the other night. This was our conversation:

Me: Hey what were people wearing at Josh Grobin?

Him: Well there were a lot of gay guys there.

Me: I didn't ask what the crowd was like, I asked what people were wearing.

Now he's looking at me like I'm an idiot.

Him: What? There were a lot of gay guys. They always dress nice.

I'm still just looking at him. He's giving me a puzzled look  . He finally says:

Casual but neat. A sports jacket, chinos and no socks, they'll fit right in.

The moral of this story? Never ask my husband for advice having to do with what to wear or fashion.

I'd go with jeans and a nice shirt.

Too funny! Thanks for trying! DH would be that clueless, too.

my friend saw josh groban just last week - she said that people sitting in the front rows were dressed much better than those sitter farther back (where she and her cousin were)

His concerts are fabulous. I love him.

I think I wore a skirt and button up top. Most everyone was dressed nice, not a lot of jeans.

Have a great time!

This is not true. I have seen Andrea Boccelli in concert at an arena and people were dressed more than business casual. In the opera crowd it would be a bit odd to show up dressed in jeans and a shirt. I don't remember anyone dressed like that at all. It was not a fancy arena (they play hockey at this arena). It does depend on the artist. Nobody stood up, and they definetly did not sing along. Well- one person tried to but another person quickly put a stop to that.;) It is alot different than a Bon Jovi concert.

Hello from Rocky Mount!

Since it is at the RBC center I would opt for khaki's or casual skirt with a cute top. Most important thing is very comfy shoes for lots of walking. It it were at Memorial Auditorium, I would definately say to go dressy. Either way, have fun!

I thought it was pretty funny too!:rotfl: But hey- we payed to see Andrea sing not someone who sings in the shower!

You guys are too funny. The venue is a pretty casual one, so I think I've decided to go for jeans, a cute shirt, and strappy sandals. I won't have to walk too far to get in, so it'll be ok.

I'm very much hoping no one sings along! I've never really understood that. I doubt this is the type of crowd to do that.
