What to Wear to Jiko

Myself, DH, and my parents will be going to Jiko for the first time in Dec.--so excited! What's good to wear to dinner there? Slacks for guys, or jeans and a dress shirt? We're also going to Cirque Du Soleil, but not the same night, so I think we might each choose one nicer outfit to bring and plan to wear it for both things. TIA.

As long as the jeans are nice .. no holes, etc .. they would be fine with a collared shirt.

The dress code calls for slacks, but I've only seen it enforced at Artist's Point and then it was for collared shirts.

We were there a little over a week ago. DH wore jeans and a polo shirt and I wore jeans and a nice shirt. We didn't feel out of place at all.

This is a really helpful thread, we find it impossible to travel light but still don't tend to pack what is classed as smart clothes over here (suit type trousers, shirt, tie for men, dressy dresses for ladies) so have always ruled out the signature restaurants but always have jeans and polo shirts or similar with us so we will be able to add them back in. Thanks.

I find that if you stay away from beachy flip flops (as opposed to sandal-y flip flops), shorts, tank tops, and ripped/faded jeans and go for something along the lines of resort casual/business casual/golf attire you're fine. Khakis and a polo short for men, and just about anything but ripped jeans and bathing suits for women and you'll be fine.
