Hey,
We are here in the heart of the south, so I'm familiar with the warm/hot weather, humidity and thunderstorms. But I've never been to WDW in Feb or March. It is milder on average than here, where we are actually having winter temps then. So what should DD (10 months) and I (female) plan to wear? I don't want to be too hot on a sunny day if I wear slacks, but that A/C and the evenings might make things too cool for shorts. What do you do?

Can't advise you on your DD as I have no kids, but I checked my pictures for the 2 trips I've made during President's week and I have on shorts and a sweater or sweatshirt at night. I am from the Northeast so my idea of warm in February is probably different than yours! But I would think capris and a ss shirt with sweater or light jacket at night you should be fine. Be prepared for rain - it always happened when we were there, and its not the warm summer kind. Hope this was helpful. Oh - and be sure to bring plenty of shoes it might not be warm enough for sandals and if it rains your shoes get wet so you'll want dry pair(s).

I would go with Capris too. I am from south of WDW so my idea of warm is not like someone up norths. As far as your daughter, you can dress her in capris as well. I don't think I would do shorts at all for either of you. Dress in layers as far as tops go. Short sleve shirts, sweatshirts over them etc... I know I usually start out with a dungree jacket, sweatshirt & s/s shirt on. I slowly peel them off & then slowly redress my self as the sun goes down. There have been a few times where I had to have a hat & gloves. If I were you, at the 10 day window, check accuweather.come & see what they are forcasting. Just remember, layers are the way to go. As far as the shoe thing, no sandles.... even if it is in the 70's during the day, it may be cold at night & you can layer your clothing all you want, if your feet are cold, you will be cold! This past Dec 1st trip my dd & her boyfriend both forgot to bring sneakers & socks. They had flip flops on. They came up straight from school & didnt' think to pack them. They were cold the entire trip.

I've found that week varies drastically. One year, the beginning of the week we had on jeans, sweatshirts and jackets in the park and we were still cold.

By the end of the week we had on tanks, shorts and sandals and we were too hot! Usually though in the evening for that week i pack either jeans or khakis for all of us and bring sandals and sneakers.

Your best bet would be to dress in layers and peel the layers off as it gets warmer. I call this jean and T-Shirt weather but I always bring a jacket or sweatshirt for the evenings.

We live here now and it was in the low 70's today, will be about 70 degrees tomorrow, a cold front (53 or so) Wednesday, then warm again for the weekend. I had on jeans and T Shirt and flip flops today while my son had on shorts. Another thing, check the weather before you leave but if its anything like in the past, it will be pleasant.

That's the week we go every year. You'll need a little bit of everything.

maybe one of them Abraham Lincon hats :confused3

We always go in the week before Presidents weekend. Being Canadian and its not something we celebrate we had no idea the first time that it would be that busy. :scared1: However for us we have sweatshirts for the night. We bring Jeans and capris. I myself am a fan of bootcut jeans that you can fold up like cuffed capris or if it get's cold roll them down.
