Hmmm....
I never thought about this. We are parasailing at CC in Feb. I am unsure whether to wear our bathing suits or shorts/t shirts. How cold is it up there with the wind?

I went at the end of Feb last year and was wearing my bathing suit with a pair of shorts over and it was perfect...When you get up there it isn't "windy"...You feel so still actually....Can't say what your weather will be like, but when I went it was perfect! Have a great time...Can't wait to do it again!!! ps..take a disposable camera up with you, the view will be amazing!:thumbsup2

It's hard to say how cold it could be. That will probably depend on what the wind is like on that particular day. But it shouldn't be appreciably colder than it is on the ground.

As far as a bathing suit, that isn't necessary. The operators don't tend to dip guests in the water, but it is possible. I've seen them do it when people are wearing bathing suits, but not when they're wearing clothes. You could probably also ask them before you go up.

All of us wore our shorts though we did have bathing suits underneath. No one on our particular excursion had their feet dipped in the ocean nor was it offered.

:cheer2:

You really won't feel much of a breeze up there (if it's too windy they will cancel due to safety concerns)

I wore shorts over my swimsuit - didn't want that lovely harness to rub in all the wrong places. ;)

We all took big dips in the water, even with shorts on... but we also gave them the A-OK to do so before going up and had quite the convincing cheering section on the boat calling for bigger and better dips each time.

The folks who did not want to be dipped just told the operators before going up - no worries.

We parasailed in June and just wore our swimsuits. Everyone who went on the excursion with us did get dipped in the water. They didn't ask if we wanted it or not, so I was surprised.:scared1: However, it was a lot of fun, and we'd do it again in a heartbeat! I supposed it could be a lot different since you'll be cruising at a different time of year than we did. Regardless, you'll love it!:thumbsup2

We went parasailing and wore shorts over our swim suit and were very comfortable. Kinda like being a kite on a string, it was so peaceful and very comfortable!

so how do they dip you does the boat just stop and you fall down or what
Once you are up in the air the captain slows the boat down gradually so you gently "Dip" into the ocean then he speeds back up and you become like a kite in the breeze.......very gentle and a wonderful experiance.
I think a very old or very young person would enjoy the experiance.

We didn't get fully submerged in the water or anything (thank goodness!). We just got our legs submerged in the water partially. I was freaking out, and my daughter was laughing so hard she could hardly stand it. We went tandum, and my daughter wanted to get dipped. It was a great time!:goodvibes

I'm sure they would dip you if you asked.:thumbsup2 The two guys who were driving the boat were hilarious! They made the whole thing so much fun. They said that they used to work independently at the Bahamas but that Mickey makes their wallets fat.:lmao: They also gave us a little history about the island they live on. It was a great excursion.
