We will be at Disney October 18 - 25. What do I pack for my kids to wear? :flower: Should I only pack shorts and t-shirts or do I need a few warmer clothes and jackets? I am coming from very dry Utah and I've never been where it is humid.

Thanks

Amy

We went last time from Oct 18-28 and we wore shorts and tank tops/t-shirts all the time... it was 80-85 everyday and didn't get much cooler at nights. I would suggest something for the evenings in case it cooled down but basically shorts and t's.

We went Oct 11-18 in 2003. It was still hot/warm. We worn shorts and tees or sleevless shirts. At night sometimes I wore capris with a tee or shirt.

I agree with the other posters. I have been there the last week of October and also the first week of November. Both times it was still very warm. You might want to bring a sweatshirt, but I don't remember being cold at any time. It was definitely still warm enough for swimming, but not miserably hot.I always check the 15 day forecast on the accuweather website before we go so we can be prepared.

You've chosen a wonderful time to go to WDW. Have fun!

Hey, we're going 10/17-10/24 and went last year 10/1-10/9. We wore shorts and tanks on days it hit above 85 (humidity), and t shirts when it was in the low 80's. It was hotter on the weekend we arrived, and the humidity broke during the week and it was sunny and cool 80-82. Beautiful weather for Florida (hey, we had only gone in July or Aug and known 90 degrees and 110% humidity)! Enjoy, but remember it always seems hotter when the parks are crowded.

I agree with everyone else, we were there the 3rd week last year, and part of that time it was really hot and humid. We were pretty much shorts and tanks all week, maybe 1 day of t-shirts. Definitely no pants. Maybe a sweatshirt one breezy evening, I can't remember.

We were at WDW over Halloween weekend last year. It was still quite hot and humid. I wore shorts and tanks most of the time. When I did put on capris for dinner, I was uncomfortably warm during transit.

We went in October 2 years ago and I was SHOCKED at how hot it was!! :sunny: :sunny: :sunny:

I was their on Oct 25 (mom's bday) and it was 99 degrees!!!!

We've been several times in October and it was always shorts and t-shirts. I also usually bring a light weight sweatshirt jackets in the everning, but that's only to wear in the actual attractions. We are going again in October this year and I plan on bringing a windbreaker for DS who will be 1 at the time. OTher than that - it is shorts and tees for us!

We have been in October for the past seven years. It is always warm, sometimes hot, and often cooler in the evenings. Mrs. Ambassador wears her fake-fur wrap on the boat to DD; usually my diplomatic sash is enough.

Once it was very hot in the morning, it rained at lunch time, and was much cooler after a fine meal at Tony's. Mrs. Ambassador spent the bank for fleece on Main Street, which was worn 'Nirvana' grunge-style around everyone's waist a few minutes after the purchase, due to the returning heat and humidity. Once again, Disney proved a genius in separating the Ambassador from his stipend.
