For those of you who have taken trips around Thanksgiving, what do you generally wear? I was thinking capris and short sleeves during the day with a jacket at night.
Last year over thanksgiving weekend, it was really nice and warm. Lots of sun. But the evenings would get chilly. When we did MVMCP, we needed capris or jeans and sweatshirts.

The year before, it was colder.. and we had on jackets during the day. Nice still, just cool.

I always take some of each type of clothes, for both warm weather and cold. I've had it be both ways in different years, and once we had warm weather the first part of the week, and then COLD the last 2 days.
Layering is the key. I take a couple of pairs of shorts, a couple of pairs of jeans, some short sleeved shirts, and maybe 2 long sleeved t-shirts. This way, I can wear the long sleeve t shirt, then a short sleeve shirt over it, if it is really cold or windy, or at night. We also take lightweight jackets. Of course, if the entire week ends up being cold or hot, we end up having to do laundry, but that's better than having to take 2 wardrobes.
One thing I would add regarding the weather in Nov.
I would take a sweater with you when you go to eat in the evenings even if it is warm outside. It seemed to me that most of the restaurants were very chilly--A/C difficult to regulate because of the warm days-cool nights.
