What to wear in November?

We're going in November, average high is 77, low somewhere in the 50s.

I can't figure out what to bring to wear.

I don't have any capris.

Can I do jeans and like yoga pants or is that a stupid idea? :confused3

Thanks~

I always do capris or shorts during the day if it is warm but usually change to jeans if it is cool. We have found that the temps fluctuate greatly from hot to cold from day to day.

I'm good with shorts or capris during the day and I can deal with cooler temps as long as my arms are covered, like a hoodie or light jacket. If it really gets cool, and believe me, I've been to WDW in November when it's snowed:sad: I will wear long pants like yoga pants, socks, shoes, no sandals and layers on top. My DH and I are going from November 14 - 21 and I really, really, really want it to be nice! It's a travesty going to Florida and not spend time in the pool.

We found it hot in the sun and cool and damp at night. We did good when we had shorts and t-shirts with hoodies that could be tied around our waist...

Yoga pants and a t-shirt with a light jacket would be about perfect. Something light weight that will dry quick if it gets wet would be best. That's why I shy away from jeans. The moment that you say, "I'm not going to get wet!" a rain storm comes from no where with no where for you to hide.

One of my most expensive outfits is a light weight pair of sweat pants that are capri length and a hoodie that I bought in EPCOT one night because I was freezing...

November and December are very unpredictable. There have been years where we've worn shorts the whole time, but we also had a year where it was in the 30's and we had to wear our winter coats, gloves and hats. Make sure to pack for ALL kinds of weather and you won't be caught off guard like the other vacationers that cold year, running from store to store trying to find gloves!

We used to go in November all the time. Granted it was years ago, but we typically wore shorts and t-shirts, but always had jeans/sweat pants and hoodies for the evening.

I find November to be quite nice. Cool in the mornings and evenings, warm (but not too warm) during the day.

When I travel in November I always dress in layers so as temps warm, layers come off. Better than packing heavier jackets, especially if you are flying!

OP, you say you don't have any capris, but are you open to buying some? :goodvibes It can be quite hot in November. Capris or shorts would be a must for me.

For my trip in February (weather similar to November), capris worked the best for me most days. Paired with a short-sleeved t-shirt and a hoodie, capris were great during the day (warmer than shorts, but not as hot as long pants). Add the hoodie as it cooled off in the evening, they were great!

I can't imagine wearing jeans if it ended up being hot; for me they'd be very uncomfortable. Plus in a rainstorm, wet jeans would be awful. It can rain very hard in Florida, and the rain can literally go sideways! Yoga pants would be much more comfortable if you want long pants.

Good point about the wet jeans, ugh had not thought of that!
I bought a pair of capri's this week. :)

Another must that we all take in Nov./Dec. and even March is a lightweight fleece jacket with side pockets that zip. In the zip pockets we stash a pair of those tiny stretch gloves and a pair of those earmuffs that go behind the head. They fold up to almost nothing. And the earmuffs are truly a lifesaver if it gets windy and cold. I can stand shorts through almost any temperature if my arms, hands, and ears are cozy.
Once my favorite fleece jacket didn't have any zip pockets, so I took it to a seamstress and she put in the zippers for about $10. It was totally worth it. She told me what size zippers to buy and I took her the 2 zippers and thread. It's so nice at Disney to be sure that things aren't falling out of my pockets. I'd be sunk if I lost my lip gloss/lip balm.:thumbsup2
