Hello Folks!

I am new to the board, although I have ben 'lurking' for a few weeks - ever since out trip was booked!

We are going to be at Disney from Oct 31 - Nov 5 and I was wondering what clothes to take. Are jeans going to be too hot? Is it likely to be warm enough for summer clothes?

All suggestions / advice will be appreciated!

shorts, a long sleeve t-shirt and a raincoat.

have a hoody for the restaurants, because the A/C will still be set at 60

We've been going around the same time for the last couple of years. (This year we are 11/1 to 11/9). I would first recommend checking the 10 forecast online. My experience has been that the early mornings and evenings tend to be much cooler than the rest of the day. I generally have everyone wear shorts and a tee with a jacket or sweatshirt when we go out in the morning. The jackets/ sweatshirts come off around 10 am. It can be pretty hot during the late morning to mid- afternoon hours. We usually go back to our room during the late afternoon, and the kids and I will put on jeans or capris and bring the jackets/ sweatshirts for our evening activities. DH usually stays in shorts, but he starts to sweat at 60 degrees. ;)

I think it depends on where you are from. We are in northern Arkansas and when we have gone late Oct/ early Nov it has always been very warm to us. The locals are wearing jeans and sweatshirts/long sleeved tshirts and we were in shorts, tshirts and sweating! Same goes for late November/early December.

I live in Montreal...so am used to hot summers & very cold winters!

I think I may need to buy some new clothes...all I have are jeans or summer skirts! Oh dear...:)

Bring a couple of everything, the weather here in FL is so fickle that time of year. It will be in the 70s one day and then a front will move in and it won't budge past 50 the next.

This is exactly what I was going to say! You just never know that time of year, so plan for one extreme to the next and everything in between. One day you could need bathing suit & shorts and the next day, sweatshirts!

We go in Nov and usually pack for everything. Except rain! We have been lucky to not have to deal with any rain on our trips. We have also gone swimming on all of our trips. I usually pack capris, shorts, tshirts, lightweight jacket, bathing suit, and a pair of jeans. This usually works well. I love the weather in Nov and I think it is just a perfect time to go! Have a great trip and welcome to the boards!!!!

do you carry all the changes of clothes with you for an "all day at the park" day?

I don't wear shorts, but usually capri's and a t shirt. The kids and hub wear shorts and t shirts. We usually take light jackets because sometimes it is chilly in the evening.

I always have our jackets with us. We hardley ever do the all day at the park type of touring, so I do not bring pants to change into for the evenings. You could easily do that and just leave the extra clothing in a locker.

We went the day after Thanksgiving until Dec. 08 and one day was 73 degrees, that's OK for us, since we live in the Caribbean. But one morning was in 49 degrees:cold:, that was freeeezing for us since we are not used to the cold.

Ok I'm like an expert at going in November. I live in Miami, Fl and it gets hot here, but in orlando its amazing not to hot, but not to cold for 3 layers of clothes. Try this...

Light Jacket
T-shirt
Jeans
Flip Flops/sneakers

Personally I wear like a tank and shorts, cause its the only chance I get for colder weather. Have a Great Time!!!!
