We leave Indiana in 12 days for Disney World. Wondering if anyone knows what the weather will be like. I am trying to plan packing. I was thinking capri's & jeans for dd & I. Shorts and jeans for dh & ds. All with t-shirts and sweatshirts for evenings.Does this sound good or not?

Unfortunately here in Missouri we are getting our first snow of the season..

I would look at the 15 day forcast at accuweather.com.. might give you an idea anyway!

Have fun!

We are going to WDW in 9 days from WI so I am in the same boat as you. We will be at WDW for 10 days so I am packing enough tshirts, socks, undies for everyday. 5 pairs of shorts, 5 pairs of long pants, 5 sweatshirts and 3 longsleeve shirts for each dd. I'm just going to cover all the bases and plan on sending the dirties to the laundry to be cleaned half way through the trip.

We will also have our winter coats with us since when we leave in the early morning it will be like 20 here. Hopefully we won't need those!

I looked at our last trip pics and saw that the night we went to MVMCP we all were wearing shorts and tshirts at 10pm at night. So who knows....

Preparing for whichever way the wind blows....

I have been told by my SIL that they swam in December one year.

I would think 5 sweatshirts and 3 longsleeve shirts is a bit much for this time of year. We went in December (and going again) and I would take mostly short sleeve shirts. We take both shorts and jeans. I will pack a few longsleeve shirts for the evening but we are also packing our swim suit.

We are leaving on Saturday, and this is my packing list:

3 pairs shorts
2 pairs jeans
5 tshirts
1 sweatshirt (planning on buying one when I get there as well)
swim suit
socks and undies as needed
sweatshirt type jacket (fleecy material)
warm hat

We are staying 10 days and doing laundry around day 5. We are from Michigan and right now it looks as if the weather will be 80 every day!!! I remember at night it can get cold, so we will be taking the jackets with us and putting them in our backpack. I also figure we can get more than 1 days wear out of jeans and shorts if we need too. The hat is for the Christmas party. I remember how cold it can get late at night and thought that would be an easy way to keep us toasty, should we need it! I might also sneak in a pair of gloves as well.

Hi. I live about 40 minutes from Disney. Lately it's been cool, meaning jeans and light jacket...in the morning and today it reached 80 in the afternoon...now it's 5:50pm and you would need the jeans and light jacket again. It's beautiful weather. The best we've had all year. It's so nice in the morning and the afternoon, the sun is warm, but not humid or hot. I'm so jealous that you all are going. It really is the best time to go. Last year this time....I was on the Disney cruise...sigh...

I wore jeans almost every day last year & was perfectly comfortable even when it was the warmest it got. But 2 years ago, it was much warmer and I would have been really hot some days. I'm taking a mix, and I'll look at the 10 day forecast before we go to see if anything unexpected looks to be coming.

Yeah, I tend to overpack :)

My other thought is one person's cool is another person's warm. There was one night in early December that we (Wisconsin people) were wearing shorts and t's, even went swimming that night, and thought iit was beautiful. My sister who lives in FL was freezing and wearing a winter coat while we were all in the pool!!!!

Honestly, I would wait until you are a bit closer to pack. We leave in 11 days, and we are from TX, so we are no stranger to "southern" winters. Yesterday the high was 85, today the high was 62 - tomorrows high is supposed to be in the mid 70's. Just wait a few days until you can get a more accurate forecast. :thumbsup2
