Normally for a July/Aug trip it would be a no brainer to pack only shorts. However, this seems to be a cold summer- up here and down there. Checking the weather it looks like they expect it to be in the high 70's at most. Just wondering from people who were just there, how does that feel in the parks?
Are jeans too hot? Are shorts too cold? Is it chilly at night? I don't know what to pack and I hate to bring a lot of extra things. I'm leaving tomorrow and I think I'll probably wear jeans on the drive down. Normally, that's a hot drive.

This morning (Saturday) was overcast but burned off quickly by 10AM.
Plus, if you have to stand in line in the sun it gets hot because the sun is more intense down there. So make sure to have shorts for during the day and something to put on at night.
