What to use to carry phone (Iphone) at parks?

I've had an iPhone for years (since they first came out) and I have always kept it in a Speck hard shell case and in my pocket. The case has always kept the phones safe and I have dropped it a few times with no problems. Also, the case and phones fit in all my front pockets of jeans, capris, shorts etc.

Didn't get a chance to read the whole thread, but for this last trip I bought a small Coach cross-over purse. They call them a swingpack. It had a back zipper pocket big enough for my iPhone that allowed easy access to it, and then I could fit my wallet, advil, gum, and key cards in the main zipper pocket with room to spare. It was comfortable to carry over my shoulder as well, and I could stay stylish while in the parks  If you're opposed to carrying a bag, they have belt/waist clips specifically for iPhone. The screen goes in the clip so just the back of the phone is exposed and there's no way for it to fall out of the clip. My dad uses this.

Just don't make your last call be to your boss, then go on "It's a Small World" and accidentally hit the phone button and the most recent called line. Makes for an interesting phone conversation later ;)

I'm sure hoping these are available at the parks! I may buy one of each for myself, too.

They are! I was at the MK yesterday and saw the black ones at the store on Main street with the jewelry :thumbsup2 in the back section with the purses. They probably have then at Downtown Disney too.

Any updates on this question? What if phone slips out of pocket? Anyone see a phone lanyard that goes around neck?

I'm afraid phone toting options haven't changed much in the past ten years! I still use a very small crossbody to hold my phone and cards and clip my MagicBand puck and some hand sanitizer on the strap.

A quick Google search shows several styles of phone lanyards available, but I've never used one.

While I always carry a crossbody bag or a small backpack, my iPhone is always in my pocket. I have an Otterbox case that keeps it safe and it is in my pocket for easy access. If pants don’t have pockets, I don’t buy them.

If going out for a longer Disney day I carry a small cross body bag so I can have sunglasses/case, sunscreen, a charger and a few odds and ends. Short or few hour visit then I use my Spi belt. Son and husband just use their pockets.

Yoga shorts/capris with zipper pockets, which can be worn under a super lightweight mini dress. Stay cool and carry everything I need (phone, keys and stick of sunscreen) with no issue.

Good to know somethings haven't charged in 10 years.

I use a crossbody bag. Swtiched to that from a backpack many years ago, once my DD got old enough to be able to be responsible for her own stuff. The bag I have is large enough for my phone, a small charger, a small wallet, a small bottle of sunscreen, tissues, hand sanitizer and wet wipes. I carry a sandwich size ziplock bag in there so I can stuff my phone and charger in there for Splash Mountain andthe afternoon downpours.

I've been using a Vera Bradley crossbody that's big enough for my large sunglasses and my sun visor, not to mention a small wallet carrying ID and various cards needed for discounts, plus tissues and other miscellaneous stuff I almost never need. (I've spent years gradually paring things down from my "mommy purse" now that the kids are grown.) Being soft, it's also easy to fit next to me on rides. But for Mother's Day I received a beautiful small crossbody that's just big enough for my iPhone XS in an Otterbox case, plus ID etc. It will make its WDW debut next week, so I'll let you know how it does!
