What to send to mom and mil

if i did not have a physical gift for my mother already i would have gone for that as she travels often now and loves to play with her beauty products.

also i have a kindle and love amazon GCs. i used it for books and recently buying some bargain mp3s which i load from my cloud onto my droid.

A couple days ago Cheryl & Co cookies had a great deal of 36 cookies for $19.99. I sent some to dh's pseudo mom. The shipping was $6 and some change. It won't get there till Monday, but it's the thought that counts (she wouldn't get anything if I hadn't made the effort ). I'm so nice .

really high thread count sheets. This is something I try to send people in the hospital (usually a gift card to bed bath and beyond and a note that that's what it's indended for). It's something that everyone would love to have, but never wants to spend the money on themselves for.

Another is Shari's Berries. Because who doesn't love chocolate covered strawberries delivered to their home? Or Edible Arrangements, for that matter.

I like to send things out of the ordinary because 1, it shows you put thought into it. 2, it makes you stand out from the crowd. For example, when I had DD, I got a whole bunch of flower arrangements, but when I got home, there was a balloon with a pkg of wipes, and taped on the bottom was a set of movie tickets, for "mom and dad" time. It probably cost less than any of the flower arrangements I got, but it was extra thoughtful, and I still remember it and who brought it, even though DD is 8! And all those people who sent me flowers... I don't remember who they all were.
