We are going July 2-5th. Thinking about seeing the Lion King one night (hoping to find a good discount code - lol). Any other suggestions???

In July? Anything air conditioned!! ;)

I would definitely recommend catching a show or two. There are discount ticket sellars on the strip that you can buy tickets from the day of the show (sometimes at a significantly lower price). I thought it was neat just to go from casino to casino checking out the sights. Don't miss the Bellagio fountains (and inside is beautiful as well) and MGM's tigers (but stay away from Mike Tyson's tigers :lmao:!!)

Oh, I love Vegas! I enjoy just bouncing from casino to casino and wandering around during the day. There's just so much to see! At night, one of my favorite things to do is hit Downtown and the Fremont Street Experience. So much fun! They have a light show on an overhead canopy, but it's prime-time people watching, also! We went in July 09, and it was hot! We stayed cool by the pools, inside the casinos, and with cold adult beverages, of course!

One tip I will give is to seek out the American Casino Guide. It's about 12 or 15 bucks, but it will give you a TON of coupons that can be used for buffets, shows, free drinks, and more. I got one before our last trip, and it saved us about $200 on different things! (I don't know an exact website, but if you Google, it should be able to give you an online vendor.)

First trip? You'll probably just spend lots of time wandering from casino to casino! That's what we did our first trip.

What do you enjoy doing? Shows, eating at high end restaurants, laying by the pool, gambling, shopping? There really is something for everyone!

Where are you staying and for how long?

I tend to go about twice a year now with a group of friends. Sometimes the hubby is with me sometimes not. I've done the wandering (still do sometimes), have done the cabana thing, had table service at a club, played table games, penny slots and most things in between. It's such a different trip every time!

We talk about taking a "downtown" trip. Staying on Freemont street and not even doing the strip. Hasn't happened yet tho!
