What to put in my lanyard?

First trip to Universal coming up in a few days. I'm borrowing a lanyard from a friend. What exactly do I need to bring into the parks? I know I need my room key, tickets, and Express Passes. I'll bring my AAA card for discounts. Will my room key be linked to my credit card so I can use it at restaurants and for lockers, or do I need to bring my credit card? Any need for my ID? Do I need cash or do all places accept credit cards? Seems like a lot to fit into one lanyard. TIA!

Buy your own lanyard there as a gift. They are around $8-$9, many to choose from.

Put your tickets, room key, express pass, aaa, and a $20 or $50 bill.

Your room key can be linked to your CC just make sure when you check in. I carry some cash just incase. It's not a lot to fit in there. Put your express pass facing out not blocking your barcode. They will scan through the pouch. Then put your hotel key on the opposite side to show for EE or priority seating if needed. Then your ticket, aaa, and money in between. This is what we do. Then it's easy to open to access the items in the center.

They also sell small wallet lanyards there too that many people use.

I carry : room key, club lounge key, park ticket, express pass, Drivers license,AAA and money

Bring ID if you want an adult beverage anywhere or plan on making large purchases( they sometimes ask for it)

We have only stayed club 3 times. Twice our regular room key works the club lounge. This has only been at RPR though.

The other time we were given club from VIP services and it is a separate key that says VIP with the standard universal logo.

Thanks for the tips! I'll be packing my lanyard today.

Good point about the ID! Definitely will need an adult beverage.

What about the lockers? I know some rides have free lockers. But for the paid lockers, do they take credit cards or quarters? Or can I use my room key as a credit card on the lockers? Thanks!

All the paid lockers are for non mandatory rides. The only way you have to pay would be a day locker, ride locker that is not at a mandatory locker ride, or if you stored your stuff way past the free limit on mandatory ride lockers.

Good point, but we don't drink. But you might need an ID in a rare instant that the ticket or AP will not scan. Then you need your ID.
