We are going for about 2 weeks plus a few days in late July. We can't board our dog for various reasons. We are having a college girl stay here, plus sleep here, so can give dog meds, keep her company etc. (very spoiled old dog) Last year I paid about 150 a week for this. Does this sound fair?

My sister has a petsitting business and charges $25 for overnight sits, so $150 a week sounds pretty fair.

I think 300 bucks for two weeks is really good and a college student probably does too. Does it come with a full refridgerator? That would be an added bonus!

We usually have friends help out with our house sitting needs. Don't usually pay--but we always get a souvenire for them.

I would suggest getting a cool souvenir (doesn't have to cost too much) in addition to what you are paying her. Kind of like a tip on top of the base price.

We pay 10.00 per visit for our house/pet sitter. She usually comes every other or 3rd day. We have cats and fish. she picks up the papers, waters plants and we have the mail stopped. Wi

We have paid a professional pet sitter, $24 a day. That is for 2 visits a day for 2 pets, with walks. Hope that helps.
