I see that alot of people pack backpacks for their days at Disney Parks, what are some items you would not leave the hotel without?:yay:

I would stick at least 1 zip lock bag in there. I always find that I need one. Sunblock, cheap, disposible ponchos and an ink pen.

This isn't all that I stick in there. But, these are the 3 things that I didn't think about the first time. Well, I thought about the sunblock.

Thanks, going this year with my daughters, son-in-law and 2 grandchildren 4 and 2. Need all the advice I can get!!!

If you are going with young kids, snacks, bottle of water, hand sanitizer and something to occupy their time if you have to wait in line for a ride or character greeting. Have fun!

baby wipes and diapers. Socks/clothes if it is raining in a plastic bag, camera. Trading pins, paper/pens for autographs. Trash bags if it raining

Hi neighbor!

A lot will depend on when you're going and where you're staying. Will you be using a stroller for the children? Either bringing one, or renting one.

With a little planning you will have a great trip.

Grandma, bring a small flash light of sorts..like the kind in a key chain. Small so it won't interrupt the attraction for others. It's a life saver when kids that small go, for those little moments where there is complete darkness. I actually hook one to my child's belt loops.

It literally saved more than one trip for me. Also, snacks they are used to. The kid's menu has the same 4 things on it all over the parks. If your kids don't eat mac-n-cheese or hot dogs, you're in trouble!

I agree--something to pass the time with in that backpack is essential!! We carry the hidden mickey book in one backpack and a treasure hunter book in another--also suckers(don't have to worry about germs on those little fingers--good low blood sugar pick up too)--a yoyo and small pad of paper with a pen(for those little journalists or doodlers).
Have fun planning and packing!

I would suggest batteries for your camera, nothing worse than having a great shot and can`t take it. Memories are very important, so you can keep reliving your vacation.
Also, I bring a sharpie for autographs, with some of the characters Big hands, it`s easier for them.
Something we`ve done in the past at Universal, so I`m not 100% they have at WDW, is to buy one of the refillable mugs with a handle. We attached it to the strap of our backpack, and we use the same one. I found that everyone will refill it free with ice and water, which is what we prefer anyway.
