We are going to disney with a 4 yr old and 3 yr old girls. 1 girl gets motion sickness other sometimes wets herself. so I know I should probably pack a change of clothes for both. any other ideas on what else I should put in the bag?

I'm an overpacker, but I've been trying to whittle down my list the last couple trips.

Lots of wipes, snacks, sunscreen, a couple band-aids, camera and video camera, autograph book/pen, sweatshirt (even if it's hot out, because my youngest DD is always freezing in restaurants). I'm sure I carried other things, but those are the things I actually USED and was glad I had.

We pack wet wipes, advil, gravol, extra clothing for the kids, sunscreen, water bottles (refillable), ziploc baggies for the water rides (protect the cameras/phones) and our disposable rain ponchos. each of the kids have their own string backpack and I carry a small one for myself and dh.

Are you staying in WDW?

I ask because I would just pack one change of clothes for each girl if you think you need that. Or if they are the same size, just one outfit. Then you can head back to your room for your mid day break (assuming you take one) & repack what you need.

I pack my wipes in a zip lock bag this way I can fit the entire container.

Camera, video camera, sunscreen, water, some snacks (not alot since we always buy stuff).

If it looks like rain/weather forcast says rain, take the ponchos but if it says rain late in the day & you are going back to your room for a mid day break bring them when you go back later.

I also bring lysol wipes in a zip lock bag because my ds has food allergies & if he comes in contact with milk he turns red.

Essentials :
Wipes and lysol wipes (to clean off high chairs and tables and hands/faces), juice boxes or sippy cups/water bottles, little BOO BOO kit with bandaides, etc. light jacket (if going to be out late), and perhaps a baggie of snacks. Childrens and adults tylenol. Extra Batteries for camera if using a digital. Extra bag for soiled clothes.

FYI) If your child does have an accident or if you just want to give them a break or snack out of the heat head to one of the BABY CARE centers at the parks. THEY ARE SOOOOO GREAT :)

Just a little thing I learned years ago.....if you buy one of those soap travel containers down the sample aisle at Target (holds soap so it won't get soggy after using it) it makes a GREAT mini first aid kit. You can put various sized bandaids in it, a tube of neosporin, and a few alcohol or other antibacterial wipes. It shuts nicely and fits in just about any size bag.

We carry Clorox wipes, regular antibacterial hand wipes, hand sanitizer, tums, ibuprofen and other pain meds, a few snack size bags of gummies or crackers, a tube of those 1.00 light up bracelets/necklaces from Target, our little first aid kit (mentioned above), Passporter and an extra pair of socks for everyone in case our feet get wet in the rain. We also put quite a few empty ziploc bags in there in case we have leftover cookies or krispie treats from lunch/snack that we can store for later. And the ziploc bags work great for putting wet stuff in (wet socks if it rains...etc.) Oh and the most important...a tide pen LOL All that food, one of us is bound to get something on us and I hate the thought of getting pictures for the rest of the day with a big pizza stain on one of their shirts LOL

We put our poncho's in a big gallon size ziploc and store those under the stroller along with our stroller rain/wind cover. Everything else fits in the bag we carry.

I have always put a change of clothes in a gallon-size ziploc bag and put it in the bottom of my backpack. I have some individual wet-wipes and put 2-3 of them in the outside pocket. I have a small first-aid kit, but I don't think I've ever used it in a half-dozen trips. We have a Hidden Mickey book, autograph book and pen. I have an empty Emerald Nuts bottle with a couple of packs of crackers in it (to keep them from getting crushed). Our lanyards are in and out of the backpack. We carry as little as possible.

FYI-if you need some over the counter meds while in the parks and didn't bring them with you don't forget about first aid in the parks. They are GREAT! Basically you can get most over the counter meds there inc. this clear ointment they have for bug bites (makes them stop itching). They even have contact lense solution should you need to rinse your lense (very helpful, especially at the water parks).

One other thing they have, when it's hot, is nice cold cloths (paper-like) to help cool down with. Really feels great on a hot day to put one on your neck.:cloud9:

I typically carry extra camera batteries (for still and video), small snacks, and my bottle of assorted over the counter meds in my Baggalini. We don't carry a back pack around and no longer use a stroller (had to stop-DD is 11!:rotfl:) so we try to keep items we bring into the park to a min. But then we usually park hop during the day and always have our own rental car. I like to pack a small soft sided cooler with lots of ice, Diet Coke, and bottled waters (frozen if I remember to do them the night ahead) so that when we get to the car we can have a nice, cold drink to drink. Really nice after crossing the hot parking lot-Especially at AK and Epcot, for some reason. ;)

Non-drowsy chewable dramamine!!! It helps so much with the queasiness. We give it to our kids for every single road trip. Its 1-2 pills for adults and kids 12 and up, so for a 3-4 year old, I give half a pill. Works wonders!

If it doesn't take up too much room, you might want an extra pair of shoes for the child who sometimes has "accidents". The change of clothes is nice but wet shoes would be no fun in the heat. Also, a plastic bag to put soiled clothes in.
