What To Pack In Bag To Take Around The Park

We have a 5.5 and a 2.5 yr old, so we're lucky enough to have a buggy with us. We have a couple of bottles of water in the buggy basket and in our rucksack (which DH carries - yay), we have snacks (crisps, raisins, funsize choc bars - we went when it was a bit cooler, so wouldn't melt as quick as it will now lol), wipes, nappies, spare change of clothes for the kids and tissue. Quite light really. Don't think DH would be too happy carrying a heavy bag around all day.

In my shoulder bag, I have my purse (I have plasters in my purse too), camera, tickets, phone, pen, DD's autograph book and more tissues lol.

Think that's it. We stayed on-site anyway and if we got desperate for stuff, I could always send DH back to the hotel to get it :rotfl:

I think i need a change of system when i go in july coz i carry the bag with water/snacks etc...surely dbf should be a gentleman and step up this year :rolleyes1 :lmao:

Water, camera, money...sorted! (don't have kids though!)

Got 2 kids (5 + 7) and now we also go for Water , camera, money ( + credit card) Wear something with pockets and put the water on a clip with lanyard and no need to cart a bag around. We eat a good breakfast before going to the parks, then snack at lunch - lots of counter service places, then eat big in the evening.

We started off doing the carry everything but the kitchen sink, and have pared it down till we don't have any fuss about carrying stuff. If it looks like it will be wet we put a pac-a-mac over our shoulders, but that's it.... Soooooo easy to get up and out now in the morning...
