Should we pack shorts or pants for Christmas week? The forecast is low 60's to low 70's for day, and 40-50 at night...help!!!!!!

We have been there 4 different times at this time of year. I would pack all kinds of clothes that you can layer. We have been there when it is warm enough to swim and we have been there when it has been 28 degrees and they have had to cover the plants to keep them from freezing. In general, the nights are cool and the days are warm.

That has been the weather here at BWV this week. We have dressed in layers (t-shirt, sweatshirt) and in the evening put on a light jacket. I brought one pair of shorts, but it wasn't quite warm enough to wear them. They are predicting rain on Christmas day.

Have a great time!!

We usually bring jeans, light pants and one pair of shorts. For tops I bring a mix of short and long sleeves, and plan to layer. We usually have our winter leather Disney jackets with, since we need them at home on both ends of the trip. I have worn them at Disney on cool evenings for Illuminations etc.

We went Christmas week in 2000 and it was very cold -- in the 20's at night. The long range forcast did not predict that. We were glad we had our winter coats -- just in case!

We were down at Christmas in 2003, and it was pretty mild in the evenings. We never needed more than sweatshirts at night. A friend of mine went a year or two before us, and wore winter coats in the evening, and had to go buy hats and mittens for the kids! Your best bet is to bring a little bit of everything, just in case!
