Hi just wondering what is the best thing on the menu at Raglan Road....I do not eat seafood, so I am wondering about the best appetizers and entree, I already know I am getting the bread pudding for dessert....Looking at the sausages for the app and either the steak or beef stew as the entree? Any opinions would be GREAT!!!! Thank you :thumbsup2

The one time I ate there, I had the Sheppard's pie and it was very good. It wasn't what I was used to from the local Irish restaurant we have at home which is more traditional , but I would order it again the next time we go to RR.
The bread pudding was amazing!

My favorite appetizer at RR is the mighty mussels, but since you mentioned you don't eat seafood, I'd go with the garlic parmesan and truffle oil skinny chips (they're technically a side, but I'd get them as an app).

For entree, my favorites are the shepherd's pie, the braised beef (so good), and the bangers n' booze.

From our Raglan Review:

Our Recomendations:
. . . appys: Asparagus and Goat Cheese Tart
. . . entree: Kevin's Heavenly Ham, Fish & Chips
. . . dessert:Ger's Bread & Butter Pudding

NOTE: We found the food can be significantly improved if you do several
of the whisky flights.

Kevins Heavenly Ham was GREAT. I'd get it again if I went back. For an app, I chose Heaven on Earth. They were ribs and it was delicious.

I really liked the beef stew (Sod the Stew). It had a deep, rich flavor and lots of meat and veggies.

I know you already choose the bread pudding for dessert, but if you change your mind or are looking for a second option, I highly recommend the Jaffa Dunbrody Kiss. It's one of my favorite desserts at WDW.

The Dalkey Duo sausages were fabulous and 2 of us could not finish them. It is an appetizer, but really is a meal. When I go again, I would get that and a side salad and BREAD PUDDING for dessert. It was FABULOUS.

I LOVE the Goat Cheese Tart. I have been there twice and got the tart for an appy and the Chicken Curry as my entree. Both are very good!

I'm fond of the Shepards pie- its not exactly your mom and dad's Shepards pie, but I like it- interestingly enough it actually comes out kind of shaped like a hockey puck- there might be some pics floating around this board somewhere!

Also, can't go wrong with a good Irish beef stew!

Also when looking at their options it is important to realize they are not traditional Irish restraint like what u get at home, they serve what Irish people are eating today, so Irish food with a modern twist.

We loove there sausages for app.
We loove their burgers, soo yummy, they put the special Irish cheese that is hard to get in the states and a special tomato chutney. So it is not a normal burger.
And of course the bread pudding....I dream about that dessert....

My husband had this and a Guinness on a 90 degree day and was in heaven - so clearly it must be good. ;)

"It's not bleedin chowder" - it is my favorite meal anywhere not just at Disney. I've had the bread pudding but me favorite dessert there is the Dundon's delight. Man now I'm hungry :):):)
