What to include in formal invitation?

So, I've been working with an awesome company, Momental Designs, to create our formal invitations. We have the outside design and the actual invite itself done, but now its time to do the enclosures. Obviously we will need to RSVP, but what else should I include? I was thinking about a card for the reception and one for the dessert party...or should I put them together on one card? I mailed an informational brochure on our wedding already, so I feel like the guests know the basics (lodging and transportation options, etc). Just wondering what all other brides includes on theirs? TIA! :thumbsup2

We put 2 additional cards: 1 for the RSVP that asked people to RSVP either on the website, to email me, or call. We did not have a card that was returned via snail mail. We sent out almost 70 invites (for 110 people) and figured so many would reply on the website and a bunch wouldn't return the card so we'd have to call them anyways that it would be a big waste of money to include return envelopes with a stamp. I'm so glad we did that and had no problems. It cost us about $65 just for stamps for the invites so I'm so happy that we saved that extra money.

The second card directed people to go to the website for details on:
The day, the dessert party, planned festivities, accommodations, and transportation. I also noted the dress code on that card and told people to contact us with any questions. I again noted our website, my email, and my phone number.

We have just a small handful of people who are not internet savvy, like grandparents. Those people got all the info they needed about the day and event from myself and family members.

We are doing a reception card and a "Details" card in addition to the RSVP. The details card includes some brief info on the parks, hotels, dining, tickets, etc. And includes a link to our website for more info.

I did a "schedule of events" card and an "additional information" card as well as the "RSVP" card. I sent out a newsletter with our STDs, so this was just a condensed version of the same information basically.

Well done.

P.s. If you're going to include a website in your details, and you put a password on your website, don't forget to include it on the card. I'm not speaking from experience, or anything...

I love the schedule of events card! Think that is definitely something we will include :)

As we're travelling from the UK do we need to put in ideas for hotels/villas and flights and things for our guests? Or would it be better to leave it to them?
