What should I expect traveling with a 20 month old to WDW? We took DS last year at 8 1/2 months and was a wonderful trip. He is getting very busy and can't wait to see how he reacts this time. :flower1: :flower1:

When we went last year, our youngest granddaughter was 20 months and she LOVED the characters! Thought they were all there especially for her, and we had to drag her away from them.

She napped in her stroller, took everything in and went on every ride that she was allowed on. She did sleep across mine and her mommy's laps during the safari, so she missed that.

Our advantage was in having seven adults to keep up with three kidlets. We are going again next December, so that she can ride some of the rides she wasn't tall enough for last time (and because all of us want to go back, too).

It can be hit or miss with a 20 month old ya know?? We kept our son busy with new toys, food on demand, and lots of stroller breaks. He loved the characters, and enjoyed a lot of the rides. We were blessed and he was WONDERFUL!

He never sleeps in a stroller at home, but he crashed out in it at the parks, prolly from sheer exhaustion. As long as we had something for him to drink, eat, and fiddle with he was in heaven and so were we.

Take breaks, keep them hydrate and things should be good.

ENjoy!

Thanks for the replys. DS doesn't seem fearful of anything right now. Loves Santa and hope he will love the caracters too. He knowes exactly who piglet and mickey is.

Thanks
