A friend of mine won an award with his company of five days at WDW, his wife is invited, but not kids. However, they have a 3 month old that they don't want to leave home. They've asked me to go along, all expenses paid, to watch him while they go to dinners and such. :earsgirl: I know, how lucky am I?:earsgirl: I will be there March 17 - 22.

Anyway, I have never been to WDW in March. Been in June, July, September and January. So, I have no idea what to expect temperature wise. Will it be hot like in September? Or, is there a chance I'll freeze my butt off like in January of last year? Do I need long pants and a jacket? Or, so I just go with shorts, sun dresses and t-shirts?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Average high is 79 and average low is 56.

You lucky thing, Kelli. Wish I had a grandbaby to "borrow" and a trip to WDW to go with that fun :)

March temps do tend to swing from chilly to warm, with a little rain thrown in sometimes.

I try to layer in March... I take shorts and khakis/jeans, short sleeved tshirts, light jackets and a sweatshirt.

It's often chilly when you set out in the morning, warm midday, and chilly again in the evening.

Thanks Kathy and Katholyn from TX, thanks for the replies.

I will plan to pack like I did last January, for both kinds of weather. It's so much harder to pack that way, but I'd rather be ready for whatever comes.

nativetx, yes, I am pretty excited about my trip, as you can see by my many posts regarding the exciting subject. I've never stayed in a hotel alone, but that's the only thing I'm worried about. I'll have almost three days there totally alone since they extended my stay to save on airline tickets. Here's to my first solo trip!!!!

Kelli, you're going to have a great time! Where are you staying?

I'll be there March 12-19, so we overlap by a couple of days! :sunny:
