What to expect next?

We joined DVC on Monday night with our guide, Ricardo via the telephone. He was great to deal with. Now I am waiting on a packet of papers. What happens next after I mail those forms back in? I have wanted to join for years and finally my DH agreed to do this as our 20th Wedding Anniversary and I am finding myself anxious and impatient to reserve our stay in May for our Anniversary.

After you turn it in you can call quality assurance after about 5 business days to see if you were approved for financing (if you went this route). And you can start making your future vacation plans. They will send you temporary cards with your number on it to make reservations with your papers.

We just purchased as well, in January....We were given our member # as soon as we gave our $500 deposit. The next day we started booking our trip. So in actuallity we had a trip booked before the paperwork got to us. Once the papers arrived by FedEx we called quality assuance to go over the remaining down payment methods and sign 2,000 copies and then sent them back. We just recieved our letter of approval for financing yesterday, 2/2, and the paperwork got to them on 1/18. We are now all set......I do believe that they have us scheduled for a March 1st closing which makes it official......
