I booked for an over night at the Loews in New York in August. Has anyone stayed there thru DVC? What should I expect?

we stayed at the Loews in March and had a great time. make sure that you bring your yellow confirmation slip with you. I had forgotten mine and they made me call DVC and have them fax it. The hotel is in a perfect location and a easy cab ride to just about everything in the city. Have fun, we had a blast.:woohoo:

We've stayed there twice on DVC and would thoroughly recommend it. Not stuffy at all and make good use of the Library Bar. We even met Henry WInkler there last year! Staff are very friendly and welcoming, our rooms were the roomiest we've ever had in NYC. We just had a couple of breakfasts there and some snacks, food is quite expensive, but you pay for location and all those staff! We walked miles around the hotel, it's a couple of blocks from everything.

Have a great time.

I am so glad to get some good feedback. We are taking my 4 and 7 year old to see a broadway show and figured we would spend the night and the hotel looks beautiful but I have never stayed in NY overnight. Thank you for reassuring me.

We are back in NYC in July and will be seeing 5 shows in 5 days!! Where we live, we don't get much opportunity to see professional theatre productions, so when we travel we like to cram in a lot!!

Looks that you enjoyed being there. Good for you. I've heard a lot of good things about that place.
