Hello. I'll be going to disney around christmas time. I was wondering what to expect to see as I go there ^ ^ and give me any tips on whats the BEST to see durring that time.

At christmas time the parks are PACKED. I haven't been to disney in christmas scince I was like 5. But I remember main street being really gourgeouse (sp?) tho with all the decorations. And I liked the parades, (except I could hardly see with all the people.)

I was there last year from Dec. 26 - Jan 1, and I have some tips for you!!!

1) Don't expect to ride everything. Even with Fastpass, lines are horrendous. My advice is pick what you HAVE TO DO, and do that first.

2) Don't sleep in! Parks have closed around Christmas, due to overpopulation... and it isnt uncommon. We barely got into Epcot last year and we were re-entry..... EPCOT!

3) See the parades and decorations!
a. Magic Kingdom: See the parade, and if you can, the party. Characters are also dressed up in Holiday attire!

b. Epcot: Definately check out the "Candelight Processional". It was fanominal. Also, check out each country! They each have their own customs, and do something special! You should try to see the tree-lighting too! IF YOU ARE THERE FOR NEW YEARS, MAKE SURE YOU SEE THE MIDNIGHT ILLUMIATIONS SHOWING. IT WAS AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!-

c. MGM: The Osbournes Light Spectacular is breathtaking! It's an entire street filled with lights, and they even have "snow" (caution: don't eat it! lol). Be warned, it can be very crowded when they initally light the lights. Wait for the crowds to go down, and check it out later on in the evening.

cant think of anything different for Animal Kingdom....

d. The Resorts: Try to get around to the different resorts, especially if you aren't staying with Disney. Even if you are, see how may you can visit. They're all decorated beautifully, and it's gorgeous. I especially liked the life-size gingerbread house in Grand Floridian. We didn't stay there, but took a stop there just to see it!

That's all I can think of. Any other questions, just PM or Instant Message me...

Enjoy!

ok, dont go when its really close to christmas. if you go like 2 weeks before christmas it is a lot less crowded. there are HUGE christmas trees EVERYWHERE.
you have to see the Osbourne lights at MGM. What me and my family like to do is get this package in epcot, where you get dinner and then you go to watch the candle light processional. They go all out at Disney during christmas time.
OO and if you can get tickets go to Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party at the magic kingdom.(it is after hours and there are shows and hot chocolate and cookies, and barely any lines for the rides, but i dont remember if all the rides are open or not on that night.) I hope you have a great trip!!!

Christmas is my favorite time in WDW! It's gonna be super-crowded, so brace yourself. Make sure that you're up early, you eat quickly, and you're right on the bus to the parks. It's going to be really busy - I think Christmas is the busiest time in Disney World. But it's a really amazing experience!

My favorite thing is The Osbourne Family Lights in MGM. They're amazing, really stunning. You'll never see anything like it anywhere else! Also, I would suggest exploring the resorts - the Deluxe resorts like the Contemporary and the Grand Floridian always have amazing displays and huge gingerbread houses.

Hope you have a good time!

oooh ooh! make sure to see the "snow" on main street while leaving the park! ^_~
