What to expect after closing?

A little over a month ago we sent in our paper work for BWV..we paid in full. What exactly will happen when the closing is final? Is there anything we cant do now that we will be able to do then? Do they give you a date when it is going to happen? We havent heard from our guide since the points came in. Any info would be appreciated!

Was this a resale or did you buy from DVC?

If you bought from DVC you should have all of the information in your contract papers. Closing date, etc.

You can book reservations as soon as you commit to buying (as soon as they write up your contract).

If you bought resale--sorry I can't help!

Yes we bought directly through DVC. Ill have to go through the papers i received when they sent the backpack. I know i tried booking using my points for disneyland but couldnt until we close.

Closing date is included in the paperwork. We also hads our check cashed and have not been contacted by anyone but we did nake our first reservation without a problem. Counting down to our first trip home.
