What to eat at Blue Bayou?

Despite the fact the BB took away their appetizers and cookie boat, I still desperately want to eat there. I am thinking we will eat there at lunch so DH can get the Monte Cristo.. We have our dining system down pat. We never order the same thing so we can taste it all. So we have already decided that he will get the gumbo and I will get the salad as our side. But if he gets the Monte Cristo, what do I get?

I have never eaten at BB before so I thinking of choosing between the TESORA CHICKEN or the CAJUN SPICED SALMON.

What do you guys think? What have you gotten on the lunch menu that you think is the best (besides the Monte Cristo)?

Oh and what is the best dessert now that the cookie boat is gone?

Last Aug I had the beef ribs and they were excellent. DGF had the chicken and loved it.

I had the chicken and LOVED IT! DH had the filet, which was good too. But I would choose the chicken!

When I was there in Nov of 08 I had the ribs and they were AWESOME so when I went back in Sept of 09 I swore I would have something different....Nope, the ribs caught my eye and I had to do it again, and of course they were just as good as I remembered them! Will I have them again when Im there in March? Probably!

DD13 and I did not like the ribs, but we love the chicken!!! I'd go with the chicken over the salmon any day.

i tried the salmon and crab cakes earlier this month. both were really, really good!
