This season i have a volleyball tourney in orlando, we play all morning but need something to do in the afternoon. is it even worth going to WDW if you can only stay 1/2 a day, the tourney is 5 days long so we could go more than once but it would be kinda pointless to go if we could only get on 1 or 2 rides a day. Is it worth staying after the tourney for? Are there any other attractions in Orlando?

What time of year is the tourney? Why I ask is some Disney is not open late all year round. Just might not be worth it. But that gives you reason to check out the rest of Orlando. Maybe dinner shows, Dis Quest, Circ, DTD, shopping at any of the malls or discount malls, mini golf, go karts just to name a few. Good luck on the tourney. Celebrate the tourney by staying a few extra days to spend in Disney. Just a thought

If I read your counter correctly you will be there mid May? If so, the crowds shouldn't be especially bad. I think you could have great day at one of the parks if you plan well.

In 2004, we spent our first day at EPCOT. We got to the park about 1 pm and stayed till closing at 9. We got to do everything we cared about in Future World, including Test Track and Mission Space, and spent the evening snacking our way around World Showcase and finishing up with Illuminations. We did all this on MEMORIAL DAY!

Another possibility would be MGM, as it is a small park and can be done in less than a whole day, plus there's Fantasmic at night.

Just be sure to check the WDW website for park hours before choosing which park to go to.

Have fun planning and good luck in the tournement!

unless you already have your WDW tickets - no it is not worth it.

the one day ticket at WDW has increased greatly!!!!

it is best to get a 7 day ticket with no expirate, park hopper - than a 1 day ticket - even better to get the 10 day...

My brother and his friend went they want a 1 day ticket with park hopper - got a price of $100 for ONE ticket!!!!

so unless you already have your tickets - don't go to WDW for one day.
