Ok, here is my dilemma:
I have reservations for SOG for Spring Break 2005. Unfortunately, we are about to move to a different state with a different spring break. Since I am one of those types who has a hard time taking kids out of school for vacations (nothing against those who do; I just can't. My mom and sister are teachers), DH and I have decided to postpone until the first week of June (after Memorial Day).
I have not checked with SOG yet to see if they have availability then, but part of me doesn't want to. I definitely want to stay on property (have stayed at CR), but DH doesn't care. I don't mind spending money for comfort, I balk at the rack rate for some of the deluxes. Values are out unless I want to get 2 rooms; they are just too small for us. Plus we loved the convenience of being on the monorail loop. However, Epcot is our family's favorite park (including DDs). So with these facts in mind, what would you do??
1. Prefer on property
2. Family of 4: mom, dad, DD1 (will be 6), DD2 (will be 3)
3. Have AAA and military potential discounts
4. Love monorail loop, but still thrifty minded (can afford monorail hotels, but don't want to blow whole budget on that)
5. Prefer not to switch resorts mid-stream, though might be worth it for a 1 or 2 night splurge
6. Staying 8-9 nights early June
7. Epcot is favorite park as a family
Thoughts?
Thanks!
