I hate being rushed. Our last two Disney trips were 10 days so we could take our time. This year, it will only be 5 or 6!!! Plus we are going with extended family who has either not been there before or haven't been for over 20 yrs! (I am envisioning a nightmare!) Because this trip is before a cruise (on the Fantasy!!!) We are locked into dates. So even if we went earlier, we would hit the combo of the last weekend of food and wine, Veteran's Day weekend, and half marathon. Translation- CROWDED. (We go in the fall/winter to avoid large crowds. No way I am going to a crowded park!) SO I am toying with the idea of going a few days earlier and doing some non-park stuff (boardwalk, beaches and cream, ginger bread house at GF, *maybe* Blizzard Beach depending on temps) because we won't have time to do all that as we will need all our days at the parks to do what we want to do. OR we could go to Sea World for a day or two (although that doesn't really excite me. The more I read the more I am not getting the hype. It kinda sounds like a zoo with some rides to me. But the kids, 3 and 5, may enjoy it regardless.) Thoughts? I am trying to think of a plan before trying to convince DH to take extra days off of work and spend more money! (Especially because there are no LM rooms left for that weekend and we have been wanting to try them out and would stay value or off site for those days depending on what our plans are.) So What would you do? Thanks!
