I'm going to Disneyland on Wednesday. Yes, Wednesday like tomorrow!:goodvibes
I'm an AP holder but I haven't been since early June and since then they have opened Toy Story Mania. My friend says I MUST go on it.

Well DCA opens the same time as DL tomorrow, so should I just start of with DL and do TSM later in they day or should it be done first?

Are you going alone? Or with old enough kids/adults who wouldn't mind riding TSM in the single rider line? If so I would do DL first and then head over to DCA. They open the single rider line throughout the day... it is not opened all day though. This is how we ride it every time. I make sure go first and the kids come off after me. They are 10 and 12 so old enough to stay in line a few minutes alone and by that time they are first in the line when I go on the ride. The line is usually long THOUGH I have not gone since the schools out here went back so maybe it will be a slower day...

Have a great time.
We are going again on Friday the 12th as our school dirtract has no school.

To me I would just get it out of the way and go to TSSM then go back to DL. Samething happend to me I was there in july and that was my main objective to go on TSSM, not to mention it was like 100 degrees outside and too hot for my two year old to be out so we ended up going back to the hotel and just kick back till it cooled down . We didnt get to go on the ride because the line was way too long we should have attempted when the park first opened.... But its an excuse to go back soon !!!!

If you are actually going to wait in the line and not try single rider, we found that the queue held the heat on a hot day. You go in and out of shade, but there's no major relief until you get back under the building.

I agree to do it first and be done with it.

Umm we were there last week and well the line for TSMM was only 20 minutes long. But if you want to get on it early it would be better as the crowds pick up in the afternoon. When we went on Friday (rope drop) we were surprised how many people didn't go straight to TSMM. We were 3rd in line to ride then my husband and son rode Screamin' right after in the first car then we got back in line for TSMM again it said 20 minute wait but it was more like 10 so in the first 20 minutes we rode TSMM 2 times. I wish we would of tried it earlier in our trip because it is the best ride.

How fun :)

I'm so jealous !! I can't give any good advice because I have never been on it, but come back and tell us all about it when you have a chance !

I'm going with my friend and we're both 20 (well I'm almost 20!).
I'm glad I'm not going on Friday, any day when there is no school it's a little more crowded at Disneyland.

We were just there last wednesday, and the posted wait time was only 15 minutes. I don't even think it was that long! It was an awsome attraction!

I vote for going to DCA first and get right in line for Toy Story Mania. :thumbsup2

When we were there last, they opened up the DCA gates 1/2 hour before official park opening and the line for Toy Story was almost to Soarin'. We almost didn't stand in it because we thought it would be too long. Well, turned out it wasn't that long and we got to walk together as a group through the park to the ride and then were in line only about 10-15 minutes once we got to the ride. It was kind of fun being part of the group escorted through the park to get to Toy Story Mania.

Plus, if you go on this ride first and find you really like it and want to go again, you'll have time to do so!

Don't forget to visit the Enchanted Tiki Room, just beware of where you sit, for Jose, is a big snacker, and a big parrot as well, so........ the end result is best imagined than being realized, should you decide not to head my words and sit under Jose anyway. he he! I miss my Tiki Room!
Maybe I can mail the boys and girls some sunflower seeds? that can work.

I would suggest going over to DL first and doing like the Fantasy rides 1st cause those always seem to have long lines no matter what time. I'd say go do Toy Story around 12 or so cause everyone who is there will be eating lunch..but anytime when it fits into your schedule..cause when I went last Wednesday..I heard the longest wait time was about 30 min..you won't find it very busy at all..neither parks were busy..longest wait time all together including DCA was around 35 min and that was for Matterhorn..

You need to ride it Cristabel. Its sooo much fun. I know you will love it. But I would do FantasyLand at rope drop and grab a fast pass or two before before heading over to DCA. If you can, do the single rider line. I wanted to do that, but DBF didn't want to. He came with me and wanted to ride with me. I would also suggest grabbing a fast pass for something on your way into DCA.

Im so jealous that you get to go tomorrow. No fair!
