They tell you to put loose items on the floor by your feet...now I realize the maybe the force keeps it their when you go upside down, but...I'm not willing to try it. :teeth: What do you do? Last time I kept my little backpack on my back and could hardly breathe. :scared1:

I put my backpack on the floor between my feet and put my legs through the straps on all the wilder rides. Never had a problem. Just make sure all the compartments are zipped up.

I just got back and over the course of 2 days did RnRc 7 times (favorite ride :goodvibes ).

I put my foot through the strap and then tucked it behind my legs between the seat. Only once did it slide sideways and it was safely hooked on my leg anyway. I had no problems-

One more for foot through the strap. Hasn't failed me in over 20 years of rollercoasters. :)

lol. Thanks guys. I knew I could count on your expertise. :teeth:

I put it between my feet with one hand holding the straps (I don't like to take too much time getting out and putting my foot through it would). Never had a problem. I did have a problem once with a button my shirt. It popped open and slid off but stayed on me because of the force of the ride and the restraints. Fell into my lap when the restraints came off but otherwise, not a problem.

yep, that's what i do too. :cool1:

I have a fairly big Disney shoulder bag and I have yet to lose it or anything in it. I do what everyone else is doing- under my feet with one foot through the strap.

actually.. I usually just loop my arms through it by the front. Then I bring the bar down. It ends up just by my belly.

Would you believe the G-forces are enough to keep not only your bag but YOU in the ride? The main reason there are shoulder restraints is, if the CM's have to do an emergency stop you could fall out (if you're on a loop, etc), but they aren't necessary to keep you in the car under normal circumstances.

I've always done the foot through the strap too though, just so the bag doesn't shift and spill it's cargo.

Unless the ride stops upside down for any length of time (which is guarded against anyways) you bag will be fine between your legs... I 2nd the leg in the strap. It is a mere mind comfort more than a necessity :)

Since I'm the only one in my family who does this ride i always leave the bags with my mom. The plan usually is that i go on rockin roller coaster while my dad ans sister go on ToT and my mom waits at the exit of ToT. When I'm done i go meet up with them. So in conclusion i never take any bags with me. i only take my sunglasses wallet, small stuff that u can fit in your pockets. if i do take something like a bottle of water i put it in my pocket. I have big pockets in my pants and shorts.

Make sure you take your hats off on it. The guy in front of me didn't and just after we started it came flying off and hit me in the face. It was pretty funny.

I know it probably isn't necessary, but I take my glasses off on RNR...put them in my bag and put the bag behind my legs and my ankle through the strap!
