What to do with Santa's Pin LIst

I have my first finished collection, and I'm not sure what to do with it. First, the Santa's Pin List card. Are you supposed to put the pins through the card to display them? And how would you frame it? HELP! I want it to look really nice as it took some effort to collect all the darned things.

Congrats on your first collection! It just so happens that it is our first collection too. I have some framing ideas that I just don't have the time or money to put into it just yet.

I was thinking of framing the card in the middle with mats and all that jazz. I would like to place the card in the center. I would like to place the pins around the card in their respective spots. I also have considered taking the card to Kinkos and having the outer/lists images enlarged to apply over the top mat. Then cut out the pin parts to place the pins there. I don't know if this is going to work or not, but it's an idea that I am toying with.

Maggie- That sounds like a great plan. Its such a cute card and pin set that it seems a shame not to display it properly. I had NO ideas at all that sounded workable, so I might try yours.

Hi!
I bought a Dax wood and plexiglass award plaque at Michaels for less than $10 with the coupon.

I bought the smallest size drill bit at True Value because the 1/16th inch bit in most sets is too big. I used my Dremel mototool to drill through the plexiglass into the plaque. Oh!, I used the pin to mark where to put the hole.

The pins are on the outside of the Plexiglass. I did not glue them in so in the future I could reframe without damage if I so choose.

I hung it up high so children of all ages can't touch the pins. Please don't ask me to put the photos of it up. I don't know how.
