What to do with Pins after your trip?!

This past trip our kids were really into Pin Trading, but what do you do with the pins after the trip?! I tied thread around the backs and the kids hung them on the Christmas Tree. We have two trees one in the rec room which is basically a Disneyland Tree with the pins and many other different Disney and other kid ornaments and then the formal tree upstairs.

That's a really cool idea. My DS always has a mini tree in his room and has mini ornaments for it. But I am certain he would flip over having a pin tree.

Most of the time our pins are packed away. I have a Disney box with our APs, pins, lanyards, coupons, etc. I finally found a use for all those cooked up comic lunch boxes we had. We store our pins in them!

DD made some banners from fely ( 12X12 ) and had them hanging in her room .

Then i got this banner from the parks so she started to put them all on it

You could also buy a small frame for pins from Michale's and hang it on your wall :goodvibes

We put our pins back into the several Disney Pin Trading binders that we now have. The hardest part is figuring out what pins we are willing to take with to trade on our next trip.

Corkboard also works real good . You can cut it in shapes or just frame it.

We're still in the "baby stages" and the kids have their pins on their lanyards and their lanyards are hanging on hooks on their bedroom walls.

These are all great ideas, I took my ds lanyard so it would not get lost and now I can't find it any where :confused3 :lmao: He has been asking me for it for the past 2 weeks :sad2: I sure wish I had made a banner :sad2: I did find the pins he got on our last disney cruise, I guess I'll need a little :wizard: to find it. :sunny:

Ditto. Same with us cept all three of the kids lanyards are now totally full. Guess it's time for new ones ;)

Me too! I have 7 lanyards completely full of pins and each lanyard is hanging on their own hanger on my grandfather's coat rack. I'm still trying to decide if I want to purchase pin bags, put them on a felt curtain or just leave them as they are. Decisions, decisions!
:teeth:

Those ideas are really good too. What I do with my pins, is that I put them on a sweater or my vest at work, so I always have something to remind me of and also remind me there is a place I can escape to, when work and life gets rough. It gives me piece of mind that I have a goal to get back the land or world, and it gives me satisfaction to know... "Hey I am on my way" and although life maybe tough now, theres something to look forward to.

LOL! I now have a ton of people wanting pins when I go back, as they love mine so much.

I don't have one, but last time I was at DL I saw these neat picture frames that were lined in cork so you could stick the pins in. I thought that was a cool combo, so that you could put in a picture, too! They had another type that had a Mickey holding the frame, too!

I put mine on a necklace that I hang from my rearview mirror in the car so I can look at it whenever I'm driving. I really like looking at it when I'm in the middle of traffic, makes me feel the disney magic and that's good. -LOL-
