What to do with my iphone?

My phone is eligible for upgrade. I have an iphone and want to get rid of it because I have an ipad and laptop and really don't need the features on it.

My dd12's phone is nearly broken, and I was wondering if I could upgrade my phone to one without all the features, and give her the iphone, but discontinue the data plan. She has an ipod touch and doesn't need the features either, but really needs a new phone.

I guess if I get a phone w/o the features and w/o a data plan, it would be a wash to continue with the iphone for her.

I'm really looking for a phone with a full touch keyboard; I don't like the touch screen keyboard at all. It's too small for my fat fingers and nails for texting.

So what would you do?

PS. I have no interest in the new iphone coming out soon.

I have a Blackberry and an Ipod Touch and I much prefer typing on the Blackberry to the Ipod. But I guess a Blackberry would be sort of silly if you don't want the Blackberry service....
