What to do with extra points

Hi everyone.Missy here i am a new dvc member along with my mom and stepfather.We booked our ssr dvc trip for the day after christmas this year.Well what i was wondering what does everyone do with your extra points. We only have about less than twenty ponits left.Does anyone have any suggestions. Thanks new dvc members Jon,Paula and Missy

Missy, if you are still in the baking window, then bank those extra points and use them next year. otherwise rent them (via transfer) to another member who can use them before they expire.

Can you bank them for next year?
Or transfer to another DVC'er on The DVC Rent/Trade board.Think the going rate is $10.00 /point.
Or make a one weeknight reservation at the BCV at the end of August(13 points for a studio) and rent to me!

If you have enough, book another day on your Dec trip. If not bank them if you can and use them the following year.

We have only been around a short while, but we've banked any we haven't used. You could do that, or post them as available here on the rent/trade board, or that new www.dvctrader.com site, or on ebay, or... the list goes on.

Actually, I did give a bunch away last summer, but not to you.

The banking idea is always a good one. That way you'll just use those points FIRST when you make your next reservation. You can just keep banking whatever you don't use from year to year. It's easier to do than some make it sound. LOL
