What to do with all these popcorn buckets ???

Okay every time I think I know it all about disney I get stumped on something very simple...I don't recall ever seeing these pocorn buckets. Does anyone have a pic? They come with a lid too? How much is a bucket of popcorn?

I'm leaving on a jet plane so soon...I'm sooooooooooo excited. :cool1: :sunny: :cheer2:

I want to say with the bucket it costs $3-5... They do come with a lid. They have different designs at all the parks. :)

When I am blue and missing WDW I pack my lunch in mine and carry it to work. Someone always inquires about it and I get to talk about the happiest place I know!

Now that is a fun idea...so about how big would you say they are?

Whenever I have to take my 3 year old son somewhere that I need to keep him occupied, I tell him that he can fill his bucket (you guessed it, the popcorn bucket) with whatever toys he wants to take, as long as they fit in the bucket with the lid closed.

Then it's something that he can carry himself and when I have to wait in the waiting room of a doctor's office, we go out to dinner, etc., he has toys he can play with.

I feel so un-Disney admitting this, but I've never seen the buckets. I guess I've never paid attention to them or wanted popcorn in the parks. This year, after DH read this thread over my shoulder, we're definitely going to have to get some. Are the buckets plastic? Are they washable? Sounds like after the popcorn is gone DS would love to use it as a carrier for his snacks in the park. Thanks for starting this thread and giving me yet another Disney moment to look forward to. :goodvibes

Well, thank you Tish, but to tell the truth I did not know of these things either. Read about them a few months before leaving, finally saw them, bought in abundance, jam-packed them in the suitcase and brought them home.

Many great idaes...more than I expected; gives many a Disney moment with every use when used year 'round does't it?
