What To Do With a Cane?

I had back surgery two months ago. My leg strength isn't back up to what it was before my surgery. I am working on it, and I have two months to keep getting stronger. I am thinking about taking a cane with me to WDW in case I need it. So the question is, what do I do with the cane when I'm on a ride?

A few years back I had to use a cane at WDW. Many of the gentler rides (such as Small World, the Jungle Cruise, the Safari, Figment, etc...) More active rides or those with less space in the seating, well, I don't know if it's usual, but the CMs would let me hand it over and it'd be waiting for me at the exit. When I had the ECV in addition or if one our part had an ECV or WC I'd leave thecane with that.

My mom has a collapsable cane that quickly and easily collapses to not much larger than a camera size. Might be an option.

I've got a collapsible cane but I prefer the other one. It has a better hand grip and it just feels more comfortable to me. If the regular one ends up being too bothersome I will definitely use the collapsible.

For most attractions, you will be able to bring it right on with you.
For the more 'wild' attractions, the CM at boarding will keep it for you.
