What to do while broken down on the highway waiting for AAA

Just picked my car up out of the shop after all kinds of work....made it a whole 10 miles when a belt let go. So I am sitting here on the side of route 3 (just past marshfield, wave if you are coming by!!)
Figured I may as well get my DIS time in

I've had AAA for years and only called them a couple of times. Last time, about 3 months ago, my van battery died and they said it would be 1.5 to 2 hours to arrive. I wish I had a wireless connection then. Of course it was 80 degrees out.

I think you are suffering from some issues if you feel the need to "surf the 'net" and DIS while waiting along the side a roadway (how many lanes?) for the tow truck to arrive.

Glad to hear AAA was timely (by their standards) in getting a truck to you and that you are home safe and sound.

LOL... that's funny and cool at the same time, Alex. I mean, it stinks that you were stuck on the side of the road for an hour... but at least you're home safe and sound, and were able to make the best of it.

Now talking really quietly to not let my geek side show too much... but that is a pretty decent throughput rate, Alex! Nice!

I mean... depending on the speed of the dial-up modem you're comparring it to. And someone please tell me I'm not the only one who just went to check out the Earthlink Wireless website to find out more about the specs offered by the company, LOL!!! I'm familiar with what we offer here in terms of wireless data, but since I'm in mid-Canada, the options down there are obviously different, so tI was curious.
