We are leaving for disney on Monday and I noticed that there are going to be thunderstorms on MON and WED. What is something we could do when it rains. Our 3 month old son will be going with us so I don't want to drag him in and out of the rain a lot. Also any special tips I should know about taking a baby? Thanks! ;)

I would suggest using a baby sling. You can wer the baby and pull up the material over the baby to minimize exposure and is you are wearing a sweatjacket or something you can easily just zip it up with baby inside (head out of course! :teeth: ) I would also make sure to put a hat on the baby. If you don't have a sling and don't want to buy one you could carry the baby or use the stroller but get a rain guard. They are cheap and they sell them at Babies R Us. Keep the baby dressed appropriately and maybe tuck a blanket around him so he doesn't get a chill from the dampness. I can't think of anything else. You will have a great time! princess:

Or if you don't have a raincover, the disney ponchos work well too! We threw one over our stroller (with DD in it) when we got caught unexpectedly in the rain. It was also nice b/c it kept our stroller dry when we had to leave it outside in the rain.

We did the SAME exact thing!!! It rained when we were at Animal Kingdom. We went to see the Lion King show while it POURED. When we got out, it was still pouring. We put the poncho on the stroller and walked all the way to our car that way. She was a LITTLE wet, but no big deal!!!!!! She loved it!!! :Pinkbounc

I'm a big weather watcher too. When it rains we try to go to Epcot. You can enter the pavillions and spend hours if you want inside of each - and stay out of the rain!!! Only problem is World Showcase, where there is a lot of walking. I would follow the poncho suggestions over the stroller between pavillions or when in WS and bring the baby sling to hold the baby once inside. Have a great time!!!

Rain cover for the stroller is a Godsend.

MK is a great park in the rain because many lines are inside.
