My family will be going in September for our first trip to WDW.

My kids will be almost 5 and about 2.5 years old. We currently have a Joovy Sit and Stand and we also have a cheap-o Target brand umbrella.

Should we take the sit & stand stroller or get another, better umbrella stroller to have two umbrella strollers? Then hook the strollers together with stroller hooks.

I have been a bit obsessed w/ the stroller situation for about 2 yrs now! :lmao: (that along w/ which bag to take, but that is a WHOLE 'nother discussion :rotfl: ). We debated all of the same choices, last yr we did the 2umbrella strollers.......worked out well, but they really took a beating....no way would they make it this yr. We thought about the sit n stand, but of course both the boys wanted the 'stand' part! Mine are a bit older than yours but we tend to be 'fast walkers' & right now are rather 'commandoish', so I knew DS6 would need a rest here & there. Then we thought about getting 2 Macs (they hold a larger child well & 'turn on a dime'......but I really did not want to spend over $200 for a couple of strollers that will only get used once maybe twice........sooooo here is the other........we had a jogger that didn't have a swivel wheel, we've had it for yrs & I hated that it didn't swivel.......so DH 'modified' for us & now DS6 has a spot to sit on.......

I've been thinking the same thing with our situation - we're going in Oct. with a 16 month old and a 4 year old. We'll be using the resort busses so I'm a little worried about taking up too much room with the Joovy. My husband swears it'll be fine.
Anyway - the thing with two umbrellas is it would be harder for my husband or I to say, "here, take the kids and go find a seat, or go wait over there, I'll be right back." Because one of us would need to be pushing a stroller at all times (thinking of food situations - of course). I know they sell clips to clip 'em together, but I can't imagine it's easy to push two umbrella strollers together - and I like how easy it is to push the Joovy. Plus, I LOVE the handle on the Joovy - I feel it's at the perfect spot for my son to hold and walk next to the stroller without having his feet get caught in the wheels. I also felt it would be hard to have my son walking, my "baby" in a stroller, and then aNOTHER stroller to push or carry around.
So for us - we're bringing the Joovy and our most polite manners for the bus rides! At least that's my decision today...I'm going to subscribe to this to see other's opinions!

It is super easy to push the strollers together with the stroller connectors. They are adjustable so you can tighten them as much as you need. It is like pushing one stroller. The only problem I had was trying to fit through a door when I was by myself because I couldn't open both doors.

We're taking a sit n stand (it's babytrend though.) I have a 6 year old and 17 month old, and this seemed to be the best option for us. It's very easy to steer, and it folds down pretty compactly.

I have seen a lot of different strollers this week at Disney. There is no problem on the bus with them. Many buses have room to put them by the windows, or DH can stand near the back door and hold it. It will be fine and you'll be happier overall!

When our kids were that young, they would fall asleep in the stroller at Disney, so we took a fullsize double (front and back, not the kind where they were sitting next to each other, a Peg Perego one). Although it was heavy and a bit of a pain as you had to fold it for the busses, we didn't take too many busses (stayed at the boardwalk). They could lean back and fall asleep for a nice nap in it. That worked well for us!

We love our Joovy Caboose. It has been a godsend to us on our trip and I cannot recommend it enough. Just make sure you have the cup holder and you'll be all set!

 I'm happy to hear that the strollers weren't a problem on the buses - that's what I'm most worried about!

We are taking two mac's and I have a 5yo and 3yo. They don't recline but i don't expect my kids will take naps in them. Maybe but my kids are pretty picky about when and where they sleep so I can imagine if they are that exhausted we'll be in the room anyway. the mac's fold up and have a shoulder strap so dh and i will be able to carry them. I have a big double I thought about bringing but it would just get in the way and dh would be crabby that I made him bring it. He said we'd rent but when he found out the price he said we'd take the macs :rotfl: Good luck with whatever you decide!

We took a sit n stand when my youngest at the time was 16 months and my oldest was 5. It was perfect! The five yr old walked most of the time and hopped on when she got tired. It was a little bulky for the bus but not really too bad at all. I would take your Joovy
