We have been staying at BC since our twins were around age 2 and it was/is by far the resort where we find the most non-park things to do. Just walking around the boardwalk is fun, and when my kids were younger we tried to time things to watch the magician and entertainment on the boardwalk. Espn Club is fun for a drink/snack/lunch. Walking to mini golf was a must-do every trip (and still is), and along the way we'd stop in a little play area around the Swan/Dolphin area for a bit. At night, we still enjoy renting a surrey bike, and we try to time it with Illuminations so we can see fireworks while we ride. But, of course, the main attraction is SAB and up until around age 11-ish, we could've stayed at SAB all day. I know a lot of families feel the opposite of how I feel, but SAB was perfect for us with really young kids. We just lived in that sandy shallow section of the pool. My kids never ventured or even asked to go in the other pool sections until they were much older, and by then they were strong swimmers so we didn't worry. One of my kids got interested in the big slide a couple years sooner than my other kid, so we'd just split up and go one adult with one kid. It's too large of a complex to let the younger kids roam free, so that's the only downer that sometimes the family has to split up for a little bit. Otherwise, it was perfection for us, mainly when the kids were very young.
