what to do on non park days

We are going to have a couple non=-park days for the first time ever. We are going for longer because my parents rented a condo very near by for 2 weeks. so we are going for 9 nights, and the kids have school for some of it it (they are still virtual/online) so we have a coupe, days they will do school til like 12-1 and then we are free.
The condo has a pool but I am guessing its not that great. What do you recommend? I think one of the days we are going to do an earlyish dinner at Sanaa and then maybe walk around animal kingdom resort a bit. We could do dinner at one of the resorts another night too, or i guess downtown disney, but last time i was there i was disappointed by the shopping mall vibe.

I enjoy checking out the resorts I haven't been to yet. The boardwalk area is neat to walk around. Or you could use the skyliner or the monorail to check out a couple resorts in those areas.

Disney Springs
Dinner at California Grill and then resort hop to Poly and GF OR lunch somewhere and resort hop on monorail
Boardwalk area


We have done...

Horseback riding at FW
Archery at FW (not sure if they are doing this now)
Tea at GF (not sure they are doing this now)
Lots of pool time

[All of the following are very Covid safe....]

Foot golf (with soccer balls) at Oak Trail.

Day Trip to Merritt Island. 70 minutes away. Lots of gators and birds on the 7 mile one-way Blackpoint Drive. $10 day pass or free with National Park pass. Go really slow in the first couple of miles. Lots of gators in the canal, many babies. Huge gators near the end. Trails to hike on the drive and elsewhere on Merritt. Saw boars, too. Cape Canaveral National Seashore beaches adjacent.

Biking Orange Trail in Winter Garden (rentals on the trail and in town). See old Florida. Lots of restaurants with outdoor seating in town. Little shops to duck in.

Crooked Can Brewery for brews and dinner (outdoor seating, family friendly, cool market with “stalls” inside for food and shopping). Very atmospheric.

Winter Garden farmers market.

If they are not restricting the resorts to guests only:
- Bread service in the bar at Saana
- Dinner/snacks/drinks on the patio of Geyser Point Bar and Grill at Wilderness Lodge. Used to watch the electric water parade from here. Locals go for the Bison Burger.
- Carryout pizza eaten on the porch of Trails End in Fort Wilderness. Fun to walk trails through the campground.
- Sunset drinks on top of the Four Seasons. Stunning. Very elegant, fancy, and over-the-top. Leave your children and teens at home, please.
