What to do on non-park day?

We have tickets for MNSSHP, so I was thinking we'd take it a little easy that day and skip the parks. What would you suggest doing that day with three children who have never been to Disney World at all? We are staying at the Poly if that makes any difference and we plan to head over to MK at 4.

Enjoy the amenities that your resort offers such as the pool. There are always activities going on at the resorts. Check the schedule. Maybe check out down town Disney. Play mini-golf.

1) Enjoy the pool and what the hotel offerers.
2) Visit the other monorail hotels.
3) DTD - Splittsville, shopping, Lego Store, etc...
4) Mini golf at Fantasia Gardens or Winter Summerland.
5) Visit one of the water parks.

There is so much to do outside of the parks, you'll never be bored.

Go swimming, maybe go to Downtown Disney, eat lunch there or at your resort, and take a nap if you can.

I would make it a lazy day. Sleep late if you can, maybe do a big lunch somewhere at a monorail resort, take a mid-day swim and then head back to the room for a nap or at least a rest and TV time. It will take a bit to enter the gates at 4:00, so you will want to allow a bit of extra time to do that, I would avoid water parks. They wear my little guy out worse than the parks and you want them to last as late as they can for the party.

I would enjoy the Poly. :goodvibes Sleep in, relax on the beach, go swimming for a bit. I'd book Kona for lunch then start getting ready for the party (if you're planning on costumes). You could also visit and explore the other two monorail resorts. Alternatively, if you're looking to be a bit more busy DTD is a wonderful option. You could spend the morning there window shopping (or really shopping ;)) and the afternoon enjoying Poly's amenities. The nice thing about WDW is that there's something for everyone!

We just stayed there and we swam in the am, ate a 11 breakfast at chef mickeys, came back and napped, and took the boat and walked into mk at 4.

Another option might be to explore a little at Fort Wilderness - maybe visit the horses and ponies at Tri-Circle D Ranch.

Definitely enjoy the Poly and maybe ride the monorail and/or boat to the other hotels.

We are staying at CBR, we are having a lazy day on our party day:). As of now the only plan is breakfast at Cape May at 10:30. I think the rest of our time will be spent enjoying the resort and hopefully getting the littlest of the kids to nap. Disney resorts seem amazing! I think we can kill time there without being disappointed.

Sleep in, chill at the pool, nice lunch; it will be 4 pm before you know it. I have to drag my daughter from the pools and activities.

I would vote for mini golf. Disney does an amazing job with e theme at both courses but especially at Winter Summerland. The holes aren't too hard so everyone in the family can enjoy playing.
