What to do on Halloween if you aren't at the park party?

Do the malls, DTD, or the hotels, do anything like pass out candy? We weren't going to do the party this trip, but what else would we do? And won't the party be packed on Halloween with locals? Any ideas?

MHP will most likely sell out for Halloween day. It has on many nights so far, maybe all but i haven't kept track.

Could go to Knott's for thier Halloween stuff, or out to the Queen Mary. Universal has Halloween stuff too. Lots of scary mazes. DL is kid friendly in comparison. Even Legoland has a Brick or Treat.

But all of these things are crowded too, it's Halloween.
