I don’t have access to see availability for Riv. Can anyone tell me how’s the 5-7 month window for Riv one bedroom looks like right now, both resort and preferred views?

1 BR Resort View - June and July are completely open and available; May has about 4 days with no availability.
1 BR Preferred View - March, April, May, June, and July is all completely available.

That might just push me over to buy Poly and call it a day. As those will be the time we normally travel. Seems like don't really need 11 month window for these 1 BR.

No problem - that could very well end up making a lot of sense. I think the only thing would be that we don't know how things will look over time at both PVB and RIV. I think a 1 BR Preferred at RIV will be a pretty safe bet at RIV inside the 7-month mark. I don't know if I'd personally count on that for 1 BR resort view, although I think that is the case now.

I'm much less certain with PVB, but I tend to think that the high points chart will settle out over time and make 1 BRs there much easier at the 7-month mark. One thing I was thinking about recently with the Poly Island Tower is that it's current availability has been impacted a lot by the fact that there were a lot of existing PVB points able to book the tower immediately, but I think they are only declaring available units at the tower as tower points are sold. I think that has created a sense that the tower will be incredibly difficult to book if you don't own PVB. Could end up being true, but just don't know yet.
