We are going to Niagara Falls for 3 days later this month. I have never been DH hasn't been in 20 years. We are doing the Maid of the Mist. What else will interest the kids and the adults.

We have me, DH, DD 16, DD's Friend 16, DSs 12 and 11.
DBro, DSiL, DNeices 9 and 5, plus my Mom and Dad. Mom is in a wheelchair but can walk short distances.

We are staying at the Embassy Suites Fallsview.

Any help would be appreciated.:)

The hotel you are staying at is beautiful and fairly new. I stopped in it to see how much a room would cost back in April and they wanted $200CA a night. Good choice and it over looks the falls. You are within walking distance of the main area, Clifton Hill. www.cliftonhill.com.
They have a Hershey building, I'm not exactly sure what is in it. There is a Marvel place with all superheroes stuff. The brand new Casino is open right beside your hotel. There is a Golden Griddle right opposite your hotel...however if you go further out of the centre of Niagara, you will find the meals are cheaper at the same restaurants.
There is a Shopping outlet not far from the centre of town as well.
Have fun! I love Niagara Falls we honeymooned there 9 yrs ago!

Clifton Hill/Niagra Falls has a ton of things to do. There is a Hershey store where they sell some really neat candy and treats. There is an MGM store I think, but it sells mostly James Bond stuff. The Marvel building has some amusment /theme park type stuff. There are some rides, and movies and stuff in there. You could go up Skylon Tower and look out over the falls, it's kinda neat. Oh, ya and let's not forget the obvious......the falls. I am not sure if they still do the fireworks in the summer. But they have a pretty decent fireworks display overtop of the falls. There is a Planet Hollywood and a Rainforest Cafe there too. The Clifton Hill area won't disappoint, but it will surely lighten your wallet a little.:earsboy:

You might want to visit Marineland when your in Niagara Falls. It's not too far from there. They have a show, and there's an area where you can feed the whales (2 types of whales, beluga and killer I think, last year it was $5 per person to feed one type of whale). They also have deer and bears that you can feed, and there are amusement park rides there. You can check their website at www.marinelandcanada.com.

It's no Sea World but we enjoyed it! The kids loved seeing the whales and enjoyed the show. They also like feeding the animals and going on the roller coaster.

Enjoy your visit!
