What to do if you get COVID at Disney?

Trying to plan ahead for the scenario in which someone in our family gets COVID at Disney. We are in Orlando for 2.5 weeks and going to Disney for the last 1.5 weeks. 3 questions:
1) How would a Canadian go about finding a US doctor? Our trip cancellation insurance states we need a diagnosis from a doctor to be covered.
2) Does anyone know what Disney resorts do for COVID cases? Do you get kicked off property? Where would you go? We are renting DVC point from David’s so would have to depend on our trip insurance to refund us.
3) Is it possible for Canadians to get COVID anti viral meds in Florida?

The only answer I know is you would phone your travel medical and they find a doctor nearby and generally set up an appt for you. Do not leave home without a travel Medical policy.
It’s always a worry about getting Covid while away. I’m super careful and will wear a mask indoors and in queues for rides, and try to avoid large crowds like MK fireworks. instead of watching in front of castle and Main St we went to the rear of castle to watch.
I also ate at more QS than TS and used outside seating where possible.

You would only need a doctor if one of you gets really sick. In that case I would call a hospital or urgent care. I believe anti viral drugs are only given if someone is at high risk of getting very sick.

Otherwise you would just need to isolate yourself while you recover. No need for a doctor.

I think if you report a positive case to Disney they will move you to the cabins at fort wilderness.

oh I didn’t realize they set this up for you. Ok great advice. We are also planning on wearing masks but it’s probably a bit pointless considering no one else wears them and it’ll be impossible to avoid crowds…

You could go to an urgent care or a Minute Clinic at CVS to get diagnosed, if they are still doing that. I live near Orlando and I don't think there are that many places testing for covid any more now that there are at-home tests. I know my doctor will not allow you to come into the office if you suspect you have covid or if have a positive home test. You may have a hard time getting a doctor's diagnosis unless it's severe and you need to be hospitalized. I know Publix pharmacies carry the anti-virals, but you would need a prescription.

The reason for a doctor is for insurance claims. But maybe it’s different re COVID…guess I’ll have to call to find out.
