What to do for our 10 year wedding anniversary?

I'm sure whatever you do you'll have a good time. :goodvibes

Last May was our 10th and DH just ignored it, as usual.

So far I like Las vagas and Hawaii, 2 places we have never been. Also if these places are not doable for us because of them being so far from us, I also like the idea of Niagra Falls. I have been there, but DH has not. I am just worried that April will be too cold there at that time. I know it was chilly when I went in May back when I was 18.

Ok. So about how much would a 4 night vacation be in Hawaii or Las Vagas?

if you decide to do Oahu I would highly recommend the minister we used, he was amazing!

www.abeachwed.com he came highly recommended to us and for good reason!

We did Vegas for our 10th. My dad was getting remarried there, so we combined the two events. We did it for less than $1500, and stayed 4 nights/5 days - which was plenty of time for me.

We stayed at the Monte Carlo, saw two shows, and really enjoyed touring all the resorts. We aren't big on nightlife or gambling, had a great time, but were really ready to go home at the end! We went to the Hoover Dam, too, which was neat to see - but rent a car and drive yourself, don't take a bus tour.

Where in VT do you live? We are in Hartford.

Edited to add: How does your DH feel about renewing your vows? Mine is adamantly opposed to it, he thinks it was bad luck, and he said all he needed to say the first time. My parents renewed their vows at my wedding (their 25th) and were divorced five years later, so DH thinks it is bad luck.

DH and I are going on a 3 night Disney Cruise for our 10th this summer. Our actual anniversary date is 9/8, but we can't go when the kids are in school as they are oging to SIL's house to stay while we are gone.

If that doesn't appeal to you, how about NYC? Not too far but lots of fun

Dh will do anything I ask, so he doesn't care. Actually we have already done our vows 2 times! First time we got married in our now home by the justice of the peace and then about 11 months later we got married in the catholic church! So I guess we have 2 anniversaries, but we only celabrate the first one April 25th, that's the one that counts to us

We live about 30 miles north west of Montpelier. It's a very small town, in the middle of no where!

We did 3 weeks on the Hawaiian islands on our 10th anniversary. We are taking a cruise on our upcoming 20 anniversary.

As great as cruises sound, and I would love to go on a cruise, you will NEVER, EVER, NEVER, EVER....get me on a boat! :sad2: I am too chicken. I'll fly in a plane, but won't get on a ship :confused3

We may have to do our anniversary trip not on our anniversary also. I am a dog breeder, and we would be planning around puppies! We also have 4 kids, but my father will watch them at my house. I just don't want him to have to deal with puppies also (cleaning their messes in the puppy pen)
